Hi! I've been a Writer all my life. Writing poetry throughout my childhood, then teleplays for my favorite television western when I was eleven, trading it all in for policies, procedures and technical writing as an adult. Then, I returned to my creative mind and dove into ghostwriting here on Guru. When my writing self jumped into overdrive, and I turned to authoring my own non-fiction books, curricula, articles, blogs and video script.
Intertwined in my nonfiction endeavors, I wrote and self-published the first novel of The KeyMaster. Now in re-write, the name has been changed and the project is taking a very different path than I originally dreamed of.
About fifteen years ago, I finally wrote my first screenplay. Predominantly amateurish, I eventually enrolled in film school, was taken by the hand and mentored by very seasoned film professionals that taught me the art of screenwriting, as well as how to put my own screenplays through the Development process.
I am passionate about storytelling through the written word. Pre-pandemic, I was the Development Executive on three film projects (not all my own) when the industry shut down. Lockdown gave me the opportunity to return to writing, where my heart is, and where I have chosen to remain.
