I worked in the development sector for over 20 years with international and national organizations and managed a variety of portfolios including but not limited to needs assessments, community resource mobilization, innovative agribusiness enterprises, project designing/conception (proposal writing), planning, management, senior-level donor/stakeholder coordination, management of public-private partnerships, donor reporting, development of institutional annual reports, general content writing and Information Education & Communication (IEC) material.

One of the brief story remembered is “I worked for people who were socially and economically weak and were remote in a country like Pakistan. In a location in the southern part of the country, there were families whose women were fetching water in pitchers on heads walking over two kilometers in extremely hot weather. I wrote the context to the company I was working with. The Country Director herself visited the locality and approved three clean drinking water schemes, on the installation of which, the community women prayed from their hearts and paid thanks and tributes to those who sponsored the activity”.
My hobbies are; watching/reading news, horticulture, reading, and writing, collecting food recipes, cooking new food dishes, and loving nature

Work Terms

I work for 2-3 hours a day (Monday to Saturday), and like to be paid for the projects as per the agreed budget

70% on completion of draft work as per contract (1st milestone)
30% on final delivery (After the response to feedback, questions, and queries) -2nd milestone

For longer or sizable projects,

a) 20% on approval of the design
c) 50% on milestones completion,
c) 30% Full completion of assignment i.e. response to questions, queries, and feedback
