Graduate of a top B School in India working in the Venture Capital indusrty and has prior work experience in Investment Banking, looking for high quality jobs
I am an MBA graduate from a premium business school in India, working for a Venture Capital firm which invests in Healthcare, Food & Agri and Cleantech space. I source deals for investment, conduct due diligence and recommends subsectors to focus on. As a result, I have developed a global overview on exciting opportunities in Healthcare and Food & Agri space. Part of my work also requires me to built financial models to help the team negotiate better deals and to value the portfolio companies.
Prior to this job, I used to work in the Healthcare team of an Investment Banking KPO based out of India with their main client as UBS Investment Bank. I assisted UBS healthcare investment bankers of different regions such as US, EMEA and APAC with making pitch books, financial analysis and valuation materials. As this job profile consisted of daily deliverable assignments, I became comfortable working on tight deadlines.
In addition, over the years, I worked on multiple projects for venture capital firms, investment banks and fund advisors. As a result, I am very comfortable with sector research, financial modelling, company valuation using multiples and discounted cash flow, sourcing data through networking, financial viability study, business planning and strategies and M&A modelling. My key strengths are my analytical skills, in depth research capability as a result of my inquisitive nature & networking abilities, quick grasping ability and financial modelling.
Work Terms
I work based on a hourly rate (~USD 7.5 to USD 15.0) or fixed rate depending on the type of work. The amount of time I can spare varies every week. I take up jobs depending on available free time with me in that week. Typically, I can spare 20 hrs a week.
