I have a wide experience of living and working in a range of environments, countries and continents! Born, schooled and educated in southern Africa, I have worked in London (10 years working in tourism and journalism); Hong Kong, where I was a travel writer; and for the past while back in southern Africa, where I have experienced South Africa's remarkable transition to democracy first hand. Over the past years I have worked in tourism policy development in government; headed up a government tourism marketing body for a large Metro (Pretoria); and overseen the creation of a variety of dedicated marketing and heritage publications for the city of Johannesburg. I also work as a specialist tourist guide for small family groups, focusing on political, mining, social history and heritage themes.
Work Terms
I am available to work most days, including weekends, especially if there is a deadline constraint.
