Senior Level Web Programmer/Developer with ~15 years experience. The Web and I have been friends since high school; let me show you what it can do. :)
Anyone reading this probably has a project they're looking to complete so I'll keep it short and sweet. I've been in web development/programming my entire adult life (roughly 15 years). In that time I've built, maintained, and customized websites for million dollar companies, dirt-poor startups, and many people and places in between.
I thrive in situations where I'm presented with problems to solve (can be simple or complex, I take all comers) and where I'm depended on to be the guy who you bring the problem to when you hit the wall. There's always something new to learn, and that's convenient because I love learning. I try to learn something new at least once a day.
As far as technical skills go, I've listed them elsewhere here but in case you missed it: I specialize in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, jQuery, jQuery Mobile, Responsive Design, Wordpress Customization and Development, Data Mining and Scraping, Regular Expressions wizard, Perl, Python, and some Ruby on Rails (I welcome these types of projects because I rarely get to utilize this skill as much as I'd like).
I guess this didn't turn out as short and sweet as I had hoped :) But then most people tell me I'm nothing if not totally thorough in my explanations. Get in touch with me, let's build something!
Work Terms
I have a full time web dev job that I've held for a few years now, so I'm looking mainly for freelance/project work at this time.
I generally do freelance work through the week from 9am - 1pm (EST/EDT, GMT -5) and again from 9pm to around 1am - 2am, but can go all the way to around 4am - 5am. On the weekends if I'm working a project I'm usually wide open as far as hours go since I'm only on call for my primary job.
As far as payment goes, I get paid for all my work through paypal, but we can do that however through Guru, I'm flexible. Depending on the length and budget of the project (pertains to larger jobs mostly), I generally split payment up into two or more parts; small deposit at the start of the job, a midpoint if necessary (like if the project will take a week or longer), and the final payment due upon satisfactory delivery of work.
But again, I'm flexible. I've never worked on a freelance site like this (most of my work has come from my full time jobs or word of mouth in the local area).
