Professional music composition and audio editing solutions
I am a composer and multi-instrumentalist performer from Australia currently living in Los Angeles. I grew up in Melbourne in a very musical family, performing regularly from a young age. My father is a well known film composer who I have been lucky enough to learn from and work with over the years.
I attended Monash University in Melbourne, graduating with a bachelor in Music Performance and a bachelor in Law. I have completed additional study programs at NYU and Leiden University in The Netherlands.
I am most known for touring with Chet Faker, playing drums, percussion and keyboards worldwide between September 2011 to January 2016. During off periods of touring, I worked with other artists, as well as assisting and editing in the music department on various feature film projects, as well as writing music for short films in my own right, and on additional film and TV cues in the States and Australia with my father.
Since scaling back my touring commitments, I am focussing more on creating music for picture. My passion lies in bringing moving pictures to life by providing tailor made, emotive and unique music to film.
I work mainly in Logic Pro and Ableton Live and have limited knowledge in Pro Tools and Reason.
My two other loves are film and literature. I have taken incomplete bachelors in both. I am very passionate about environmental issues. In another life I would work with an international environmental legal NGO/agency.
Work Terms
I work according according to an "in good faith" work ethic to accommodate the various needs and budgetary requirements of clients. Therefore I am always flexible in all terms.
Generally, most projects are determined by a fixed price basis. Payment terms vary depending mainly on the length and complexity of the project. I generally charge per minute of music composition required, or per minute of material to be edited with additional charges for further service requests (for example, mixing and mastering).
Payments are generally invoiced at the end of a project. For larger/longer projects, payment must be made in increments.
Payment via wire-transfer is preferred. However, I am happy to discuss other avenues of payment transfer.
