Being a recent recipient of a master’s in creative writing, Sam is an energetic leader who possesses an excellent ability to motivate others; coupled with a trained skill for creative writing, advertising, directing, and design. Sam is adamant in learning whatever is necessary to increase his opportunities in any role given. Sam has written for children’s educational programming on behalf of the state of Virginia, as well as several film competitions and projects.
Sam’s writing is various (comedy, drama, horror, etc.) and reaches many genres. He has organized pitches and pre-productions for projects; overseeing art and design and was in charge of publicity and cover art for his university’s radio drama.
Sam also has a background that includes business in a customer service environment within both education administration and retail. Sam has worn various hats within education administration for major universities and has handled both fast paced and high volume work.
Sam is the winner of 2016’s Lynchburg 48 Hour Film Festival “Best Writing” Award for the film Mr. Scratch and his recent film The Darkness Looked Back is the winner of 2017 Lynchburg's 48 Hour Film Festival “Best Film”.
