I have 8+ years technical experience with PHP and MySQL as well as 5+ year Magento development experience. I had worked on wordpress,Core PHP,Joomla,codeigniter,Zend I also have experience building a custom Magento for one of the long term clients.
For a previous client I built a lot of extension and customization of Magento.I have created their new booking system, event system, which was based on Magento, . This was used as the foundations for the whole project.

I have also very good experience of Core PHP,wordpress,Joomla and Codeigniter project development.

I am NOT going to recommend that you use something similar. I built the custom Magento for reasons that made sense at the time and I have come to believe that it may have been better to use an out of the box solution.
However, the project has given me an excellent understanding of the principles involved in building and managing an Magento and the technical advantages and disadvantages of choosing one. I believe I would be in a good position to analyse your requirements and advice on the best manner of proceeding.
I have an existing full-time commitment so I would be available for around 40 hours a week and would be able to start from this ASAP.
