I’m an environmental engineering student from Portugal with a unique academic path and a deep passion for sustainability. After spending two years studying physics, I discovered my true interest in bioplastics and the circular economy, which led me to change my major and pursue a new direction. My goal is to become a researcher and university professor, specializing in circular economy, bioplastics, biopolymers, bioreactors and machine learning.
Beyond my studies, I co-founded a non-profit student organization called Green Mind, dedicated to spreading accurate and reliable information about sustainability and environmental issues. This organization reflects my commitment to raising awareness and promoting a more sustainable future.
I’ve also participated in over 15 micro-modules and challenges through the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU), exploring various fields such as recycling, programming, artificial intelligence, bioplastics, and energy. I have knowledge in Python and data analysis, supported by three specialized courses and experience in research.
I’m eager to contribute to cutting-edge research and innovation in the environmental and educational sectors.
