Design is much more than aesthetics. For me, it is essential for it to be enfolded in practicality, applicability and experience. Over the past years, I've worked as a creative director, visual merchandiser, marketeer and a graphic designer. Through my experience, I have learnt that as a designer, my job isn't confined to solely delivering what I am told to, but it also entails providing substantive suggestions to my client on how I believe their given project can improve. My extensive research and practice in Design Thinking, Comparative Studies and Critical Design have allowed me to expand my skillsets and knowledge and most importantly, learn the art of empathy. I aim to never be divorced from my user and their experiences while designing for them. I stand by the notion that for me design means collaboration.
