Civic web designer & developer
I won a lemon eating contest when I was 3 and have been winning ever since.
My hobbies as a kid were being a script kiddy, fixing my grandma's computer, and getting grounded. Combining all of those things, I learned how to create a website based off of a book I found in my grammar school library.
A part of my background is wholly full of national service, urban education, and volunteering. I've run community leadership workshops for inmates at a Mass supermax prison, taught IT and front end development to 18-24 year olds as an adjunct community college professor, and I'm a proud AmeriCorps alumni. When I was a young adult, I was addicted to alcohol and eventually became homeless. These days, I'm sober for nearly 3 years and have made it a part of my personal mission to help / teach others using the skills that I've learned along the way.
My past clients are diverse and really awesome- it's hard to sum it up here. If you'd like to see my resume or get an idea of my work-- check out my website! I've also taken a few tests from oDesk, please reach out if you'd like my results.
Work Terms
I work between 8-4 and prefer payment through Venmo or options other than Paypal. My hourly rate is firm but my work hours are flexible. I do send contracts and will not begin work until they are signed.
