I'm Sarah Bayler and I've had a passion for illustration since I was very young. I'm always drawing and creating concepts for charming characters and it was something I knew I wanted to pursue professionally. This lead me to studying at the American Academy of Art for four years. While studying there I gained a proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and found I enjoyed the flexibility and versatility of the programs. Eventually I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in illustration and began my career as a freelance illustrator.

I've done a variety of illustrative jobs since graduating, from illustrating children's books to designing T-shirts and wrapping paper. However I want to expand my clientele and that has lead me to guru.com.

My artistic style is described as very charming, whimsical, colorful, and soft.

Work Terms

When working with clients I like to create rough concepts of the desired illustration to show first, so that way I can ensure that my artwork is going to meet my client's needs.
I usually check in with my clients periodically throughout the project to show them the progress of the piece to make sure they are completely satisfied with the artwork.
I usually take 30 minutes to 1 hour to illustrate a final image, depending on what exactly needs to be illustrated.
I work at a set rate that depends on the amount to detail and time it will take to complete a project, starting from 35$.

I am available to contact and work Monday through Friday from 11 am to 7 pm.
