Delivering quality and accuracy everyday

Currently living in the wilds of Tennessee, I originally grew up in NC. I started working with computers too many years ago to contemplate (yes, I programmed in BASIC and saved my programs on a tape recorder because my computer had no hard drive and had a "fast" 300-BAUD modem to upload files to text-based message boards). I was mainly employed in retail, but always seemed to wind up training people to use systems as they came along and have always had a knack for figuring out and explaining new technologies. I was also a long-haul trucker for a while and have always been an artist of one variety or another (primarily pyrography and woodwork). I offer an interesting mix of knowledge and understanding and attention to detail. I am largely self-taught (Google is my friend), but have also taken several courses live and online in PHP, CSS and most currently Excel. I tinker with website design (for myself and for a couple of local non-profits) and am in the process of helping set up and automate bookkeeping records for the Hohenwald Marketplace (a non-profit that serves as a "small business incubator", helping locals learn to run and grow their own businesses). I am also expanding my training to include Access and PowerPoint. I'm quick, accurate, discreet and if I don't know how to do it, I know how to find out how to do it.

Work Terms

I work when there's work to be done - the time of day or day of the week doesn't really concern me if there's a job that needs doing. I prefer to be paid on a "Per job" basis, but would consider an hourly rate depending on the skill requirements of the task in question.
