I am a freelance curriculum developer and writer with over 10 years of experience in the science education field. I have dedicated my career to breaking down complex information in a manageable, engaging manner for target audiences, and I am excited to do the same for you. Since 2007, I have worked for education-related organizations, creating and delivering STEM content, curriculum, and programs to K-12 and adult audiences for organizations such as University of Georgia 4-H and Orlando Science Center. I hold a Master's degree in Agricultural Leadership, which allowed me to focus on program development for science education, and a certificate in Instructional Design. This includes the development of lower elementary, upper elementary, and middle school engineering programs. I also have a degree in journalism from the University of Georgia's Grady College and have been published in multiple publications, including the Atlanta Journal-Constitution; in recent years, I have shifted to freelancing as my primary career. My primary areas of expertise is STEM and environmental education; I am also open to other content areas. I create interactive curriculum and programs, textbook content, test questions, course outlines, individual lesson plans, and supplemental materials such as worksheets or presentations.
I am available for projects up to 30 hours a week, primarily early mornings from 5 to 7 a.m., afternoons from 1 to 3 p.m., and evenings after 7:30 p.m. EST. My rate is $30/hour. I prefer to communicate via email and manage my work and productivity using the Google suite of products.
