Academic writer with mom skills.

I'm a stay at home mom of three with a small home business, a crafting habit, and writing skills. I teach and inspire all day while I try new hobbies and still find time to follow my educational interests in art and history. I am an avid teacher to my kids, and learn from them everyday. I also teach cake decorating and design at my local craft store. I've been a substitute teacher, a clerical coordinator, and a small business owner. I've done work as a research assistant, curatorial assistant, and put together whole exhibitions for Albion College's Art Department. I've volunteered with Relay for Life, Sexual Assault Services and Battle Creek's Safe Place ( a shelter for women and children facing domestic abuse). I am an avid supporter and visitor to my local library and church. I have blogged, been a social network butterfly, and spend many hours a week doing product reviews, using Pinterest and crafting. My interests in writing have blossomed over the years and I find myself looking for an outlet.
