I am a diligent and capable writer who is passionate about science. I'm creative and informative and look forward to writing articles for your audience.
I've had a passion for science since I was a young boy. Fueled by spending my childhood in the outdoors or watching David Attenborough documentaries I chose to study Biology at the University of Canterbury. I took classes in a range of topics including plant biology and animal behaviour, although my focus was molecular biology and genetics.
I completed my Master's degree in Biomedical Science with first-class honours at the University of Auckland. My research involved using the state of the art genetic editing technology CRISPR-Cas9 and performing experiments to further our understanding of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma.
I have 2 years of research experience and have had to read and analyze many professional research articles.
Furthermore, due to my experience as a biology teacher at university and as an English teacher in Japan, I am able to explain difficult concepts to people. I am capable of writing articles for a professional scientifically literate audience or to a layman audience.
