Scotia Business Centre was founded to provide jobs for single parents who might have difficulty obtaining work otherwise. While that objective changed as time passed, the value of this company in the community has not diminished in the least. We offer a wide range of services to the public including access to a fax machine and e-mail for those that may not have access to it otherwise, scanning and copying services, resume services and typing services.

Our real value to our community, however, is certainly our award winning telephone answering service. Our small staff of 7 works hard to provide high quality live answering for numerous area businesses. This past year, we were honoured to receive our 10th straight Cam-X award, which is given to businesses that provide exceptional service to their clients. We're participating again this year and hope to make it 11 in a row!

In addition to all of this, we also provide legal transcriptions to several lawyers in the area and have two certified court reporters on staff. While our expertise certainly is in the legal field, we are excited to branch out into other transcription areas and see what else is out there to explore.

And just in case all of that isn't enough, we also do fire dispatch for more than 40 fire departments, alarm monitoring for individuals and for businesses and emergency call outs for local schools and nursing homes.
