25 years' experience with Access/Excel VBA and VB/VB.NET development.
My name is Scott. I have worked with VBA in both Excel and Access for over 25 years. I love everything about VBA!
My goal with every project is to create a solution which is:
1. Intuitive. Using new software to do a task in a different way should not require a lot of training. Users should be able to easily recognize the task and go right to work.
2. Effective. Software must be correct and functional. It must fulfill the customers needs -- 100%. Effectiveness begins with clear communication of the problem and/or desired result. Effectiveness ends with clear communication from the developer to the client on the precise steps in using the software to achieve the desired result.
3. Efficient. Software should be designed to streamline the complexities of a task. Efficiency gets the job done in a more timely manner. Time is money. Software saves time.
Having fun during the process of building, correcting or expanding your application is perfectly acceptable, as long as the job gets done correctly and on time. It is my obligation to not only meet, but to exceed your expectations.
A little about how I became who I am today:
I am a US Marine. I was taught from day one that "Marines do not to lie, cheat or steal." I am an Eagle Scout. I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems. My father was president of a bank and also an Eagle Scout. My mother is a retired first grade teacher. They made me who I am today.
Working with clients to solve real world problems is what I do. Having that be a pleasant experience for my clients is what makes me unique.
I look forward to working with you.

Work Terms
I can be contacted at any time and I will respond as soon as possible. I am required to have a phone near me most of the time. I can comfortably work 20-30 hours per week on your project -- more if necessary. I am in the Central Time Zone (US).
Payment terms -- I can receive payments via my PayPal Business account.
My hourly rate is $45/hour. I am very well worth it. There is no set minimum.
A written Scope of Work is required for me to begin the work. The Scope defines exactly what you need and exactly what you can expect from me. After the Project Scope has been defined, a time estimate will be made and work will begin. After development has started, if a change to the project is needed, a Change Order will be required as an addendum to the Scope. Please understand that additions, changes or corrections will require more work on my part for which I must be compensated.
Let's have some fun and get started on your project! I look forward to hearing from you.
