Professional software architect and developer. My mantra is, "If it's worth doing, it's worth doing right!"
I have loved computers since I first worked on one of two available Apple ]['s at my elementary school in 1979. Throughout the 80's and early 90's I dabbled with everything I could get my hands on, including the 6502 chipset in both Atari and Commodore computers as well as the Amiga and early PCs.
I attended a local community college and worked through the core of a CIS degree in the early 90's while raising my young family.
I started working professionally as a software developer in the mid 90's and have been doing that ever since. In my well over twenty years of experience, I have honed a style of development that focuses on clean, well formatted, self-documenting code.
My focus is on full-stack architecture and development in the Microsoft stack, specifically C#, ASP.NET (in all the various flavors) and SQL Server. I have been developing web-based applications since the web became popular, have been using the .NET Framework since it was released and using SQL Server since version 6.5. Prior I worked with Microsoft Access and FoxPro database systems and VB6 and classic ASP.
