As an editor, published author, and the dramaturg for a major Chicago theater festival, I have extensive experience with editing across many genres and forms. I currently work for the New York-based online arts and politics magazine The Clyde Fitch Report, where I have a range of editorial duties. I regularly copyedit our columnists’ writing while also guiding them on style and content, ensuring that we publish only the highest-quality articles. I also work closely with our head editor in managing the editorial procedures of the site and scouting for new writing talent to bring on to our staff.

In addition to journalistic writing I also have experience with editing for fiction and drama. I am a published author, and as the dramaturg for Something Marvelous, an annual theater festival featuring events across Chicago, I edit scripts, grant applications, academic research, and online content for a global body of artists and company staff. I have also spent years working literary jobs for other major Chicago theaters, editing scripts, grants, research documents, and press releases.
