Quick Background:

I've worked full-time for marketing agency for 2 years. I did account management, strategy, fulfillment, and was the director of marketing. I've also worked for individual companies fulfilling on their marketing needs.

Fluffy Background Story:

Where did my drive for marketing come from? It came from having a rock band in high school. I wanted to be popular and it wasn’t enough to have just good music. I was determined to spread the word about my band. I made things difficult for myself and my band members (we changed band names more than we changed our clothes). However, my marketing techniques were sound – and I didn’t even know it. I printed out fliers for a concert we were playing. I decided to make them green and shaped like dollar bills. I went to the top floor of my school and threw them out into the stairwells and courtyard in an epic, theatrical fashion. The wind carried them like… well, wind. Unfortunately… it didn’t work.

But since then I understood some basic facts about marketing – it takes practice, research, trial and error, and, sometimes, a stroke of luck.

Work Terms

I work after 5:30pm MST on weekdays and weekends but can answer emails throughout the day.
