I have extensive experience in design, development, tooling and manufacture of various automotive, consumer and medical products. I specialize in reducing the cost of producing the product by simplifying the design (DFMA), streamlining the assembly process and utilizing automation when the volume warrants it. I have excellent verbal and written communication skills and a proven track record of innovative design and process solutions, going from concept on through to production. I have experience working with OSHA, EPA, UL & CSA regulatory and consumer safety agencies.
My greatest strength is my ability to create novel solutions to design problems and/or manufacturing (production) issues. These are arrived at by really looking at what is actually there, not what should be there, not what we would like to be there, not what is unfair because it is not there, or anything else.
