I've loved computers and programming since I started hacking in Basic on my Commodore 64 in the late '80s. I have a BS in Computer Science and Math and have worked as a programmer for companies such as Walmart.

My name is Seth Stone and I'm currently employed full-time as a Sr. Software Developer for a non-profit in East Texas where I serve as both a software architect and mentor/technical lead for our 6-man agile delivery team.

Over the past few years I've been freelancing with a number of clients, several of which I've retained for recurring work.

My current specialty is web development where my major skills are ColdFusion, JavaScript and jQuery. Additionally, I have many years experience in system administration and skills in Linux, Apache and MySQL.

Areas that I'm building experience and wish to pursue further are AngularJS, Node and most recently Swift (for iOS).

I value your time and your money so I'll be up front about whether I'm a good fit for your project and whether I can reasonably accomplish what you're asking. In the long run it's reputation and relationship that matter most to me.

Work Terms

My main freelancing times are evenings and weekends. Although I work full-time in a day job my schedule is often flexible enough to allow for Skype meetings or phone calls during the normal business day if I can know ahead of time. I'm great with e-mail and am a strong communicator in that medium. However, I will adapt to whatever communication style suits you best.
