If you thought it, I will build it!
Hey there! I’m Suraj Sahu—software engineer by day, poet and planetary science geek by night. I’m currently interning as an SDE at Fidelity International, tinkering with Java and Spring Boot to make financial apps run faster than your morning chai break. Before that, I hopped around at places like Celebal Technologies, UDBHA.com, and LaraPush.com, where I learned to handle millions of push notifications (and still somehow forget to reply to my own WhatsApp messages on time).
I love building systems that scale—like delivering over a million messages in under a minute—yet ironically, I can’t manage to keep my coffee mug warm for longer than five. I’ve also led a few hackathon teams to the top 10 nationally, mentored over 30 budding developers, and cranked out more than 25 freelance projects. Basically, if there’s code to be written, I’m in. If there’s optimization to be done, I’m really in.
When I’m not writing lines of JavaScript or orchestrating microservices, you’ll find me reading about planets and galaxies, scribbling poems about black holes, or writing chapters of a novel that may or may not star aliens. I’m also dabbling in Generative AI—because who wouldn’t want an app that conjures anime wallpapers on a whim?
My values? Keep it simple, stay curious, and always do right by the user (and the code). If that sounds like a good time, stick around; we might just push some notifications—and boundaries—together.
