So the Truth is not lost in Translation
I used to work in public administration in Mexico for 10 years in the areas of freedom of information, personal data protection, human rights and civil matters. These are topics in which I have developed my comprehension, research, translation, interpretation and writing skills. In the last couple of years, I have worked at Centro Legal de la Raza, I have been involved in various cases in the Immigration Clinic of the University of San Francisco, and assisted as a Pro-Bono Interpreter/Translator at the KIND (Kids in Need of Defense) organization. I studied and finished a Court/Legal Interpreter (Spanish/English) program at San Francisco State University. I have had the opportunity to obtain experience working empathically with those who are in need of legal defense so the truth is not lost in translation.
