Provide initial assessment of all Incidents; make first attempt at Incident
Resolution and/or escalate to the relevant operational support groups, based on agreed service levels.
First Level Support to speed up resolution of requests and complaints
Rapid restoration of normal service operations..
Business valuable Management Information on IT utilization
