I am a freelance proofreader based out of Waukesha, Wisconsin, who is able to turn both creative and professional writing into clear, concise prose that is easily readable for anyone. Writing is a long-standing passion of mine, and it has only grown with time. This, coupled with my predilection for collaborating with others, naturally led me to gravitate toward a proofreading career. To that end, I sought out and completed a professional-level education through BCP Media, Inc.’s General Proofreading: Theory and Practice™ Ignite Plus course.

I am a very fastidious reader who is always eager to help clients improve their writing by correcting any and all errors in terms of spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, and formatting. I am proficient in the Chicago and Associated Press writing styles. My specialties include fictional literature, tabletop games, digital marketing, and press releases.


I was born with dual Dutch-American citizenship on the Caribbean island of Curaçao. I grew up speaking and writing English, and upon reaching the age of twenty, I immigrated to the United States. Reading literature occupies a solid portion of my free time. I am a big fan of the fantasy and science fiction genres in particular. I’m fond of singing, traveling, and I’m also an avid tabletop game collector; my bookshelf is practically filled with RPG rulebooks. I’ve been surrounded by books throughout my entire life. Small wonder, then, that I’ve chosen this line of work!
