For as long as I can remember I’ve always had a passion for art. As a child I would spend my weekends taking classes at the Brooklyn Museum of Art or making beaded jewelry. I even developed my own business called Shanimals, which were animal magnets and broaches made of clay.

I continued to fuel my passion by attending Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School. LaGuardia introduced me to a lot of mediums such as printmaking, photography, sculpture and more. While in high school I changed my childhood dream of becoming an animator for Disney to a children’s book illustrator. Following high school I moved on to Pratt Institute. After starting communication design classes I realized graphic design was a perfect fit for me.

In 2007 I graduated from Pratt and started my first graphic design job at A to Z Bohemian Glass, Inc. I left A to Z to focus on my family and relocate from NYC to the DC metro area. Since the big move I’ve been freelancing; mainly contract work for Service Employee International Union. I am looking to take on more clients and keep doing what I love–creating art!

In my spare time I create inspirational images for my blog, Doodles Invigorate (www.doodlesinvigorate.wordpress.com). I enjoy encouraging others. Doodles Invigorate is a place where I can design from the heart and make people smile.

Work Terms

Availability
I am available Monday-Friday from 9:00 am through 6:00 pm. I am available for rush projects that need to be completed after hours (an extra fee may apply). I am open to any form of communication. The quickest way to contact me is by email.

Project Overview
Before a project is started I will provide a timeline. I send two-three drafts to illustrate initial concepts. Initial drafts will be rough and are not polished. The client will choose a concept. I will finalize art based on the clients feedback.

Payment
100% of the payment is due upon project completion. PayPal and check payments are accepted.
