I am a consummate communicator. I strive to find the medium or media ideal for a given message, and enjoy sculpting that content to perfection.
I grew up in New York City, where I attended the Browning School (whose first student was John D. Rockefeller) and interned and assisted at Magnum Photos, working under VIETNAM INC. author Philip Jones Griffiths. After a hiatus from initial study at Syracuse University, I conceptualized Interactive Reality Entertainment (IRE) in its basic transmedia incarnation in 1999, after shooting my first film co-directed by Actor’s Studio veteran instructor Ernie Martin (whose students have included Gene Hackman, Sean Penn, Harvey Keitel, Nastassja Kinski, and others).
I also lived in Beijing for seven years before returning to the U.S. in 2008, joined the U.S. Army, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
