Shannon Murphy is a public relations executive with extensive experience in coalition building, government relations, community engagement, media outreach, and message and brand development. Having served at notable agencies including Burson-Marsteller, Shannon brings her clients big-agency know-how with the dedication and commitment of a small business. She’s served a wide range of corporate, government and non-profit organizations, specializing in health and patient advocacy.
Most notably, Shannon has supported the National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Research Program, which seeks to engage one million or more participants in sharing health information to find new ways to improve health and treat disease. She was also instrumental in supporting Medtronic in reaching data milestones for five global clinical trials published in The New England Journal of Medicine and the subsequent revision of the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association’s stroke treatment guidelines to include stent retriever technology.
Shannon holds a Master of Communications from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in communications, public relations from James Madison University.
