I’m Shayn De Mur – MBA, PMP, CSM, CSPO, a business analyst/project manager business architect and business engineer. I empower teams and organizations to achieve high performance by aligning with their purpose. I’ve got your back!

An entrepreneur since the age of 8, I started a real estate investment business and a legal process service while in college. After college, I worked in financial services as both, a stockbroker and a hedge fund trader. It was during this period that I experienced a turning point. I woke up one morning and just couldn’t continue a career that compromised my integrity. I literally could not put my foot down out of bed to head into the office. So, I tendered my resignation. This was the realization of my own shift. I recognized that in order to have a sense of accomplishment I had to do something that makes a positive impact on others. That was the start of integrating coaching into my services. In fact, some of my first clients were fellow stockbrokers who also had an underlying sense that their career was not in alignment with who they were. During this journey I encountered business owners who were experiencing shifts in the structure of their businesses and thus sought my help. I began to see the points of pain for business owners who desired to make a meaningful impact through their business. It became my mission to address this need.

In addition to an undergraduate degree in economics, I’ve obtained an MFA in Writing from CalArts and an MBA in Marketing from Golden Gate University. My certifications include a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance, and an NLP Coach certification from Academy of Coaching and NLP. I have also held Series 6,7,63, and 66 securities licenses as well as a California real estate brokers license.
