Fine Artist and Illustrator
Sheena Kowalski lives and works in New York’s Hudson Valley. She holds a BFA in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Sheena is an emerging fine artist, illustrator, and writer who works in the styles of surrealism, symbolism, Medieval art, and the macabre. Her work was recently published in Creative Quarterly Magazine, Issue 62 and has also been in various group shows around the New York area, including Starrett-Lehigh Gallery, Charmingwall Gallery, Amy Lin Projects, Front Street Gallery, Putnam Arts Council, and Studio Around the Corner. Sheena also instructs oil painting classes around the Hudson Valley area. She works in various mediums, such as oil paint, watercolor, inks, and collage. Her inspiration delves from her connection to nature and the supernatural world, creating strange anthropomorphic creatures and plants while extracting images from her vivid otherworldly dreams and childhood experiences.
Work Terms
A deposit of 50% of total cost of the project sum is due up front upon signing. The remaining half is due upon completion of the project.
