After graduating cum laude with my bachelor of arts degree in English and creative writing, I accepted the opportunity to become a content writer for an intimates and beauty company based in Frisco, Texas. Since joining UI Global Brands, I had the opportunity to direct and create weekly content for their blog and vlog site, as well as manage their social media accounts and generate all written material and verbiage needed for their three different E-commerce sites. My web copy and social media content have directly impacted and increased awareness, engagement, and ROI. In addition, I’ve also been able to work on remote, freelance projects for Sheplers Western Wear, creating product copy, and for TexasLiving Magazine’s online and print publication.
My most recent role as a content writer for DoctorLogic allowed me to work remotely while also collaborating with other team members to meet goals and deadlines. As a medical-focused company, DoctorLogic gave me the opportunity to broaden my skill set by researching new medical topics and writing entire websites for private practices throughout the United States. On a weekly basis and fast-paced turnover rate, I generated original content that was SEO-driven and met both the clients’ and industry’s standards, while maintaining the highest level of accuracy. Being able to step into this role has strengthened my creative abilities as well as my skills at adapting to all different styles and topics of writing.
