Communication Professional | Theory-Driven Qualitative Thinker | Story-Focused Content Writer | Oxford Comma-Friendly Copy Editor | Published Academic Author
I hold a PhD in communication from Wayne State University, and I am an adjunct instructor who teaches university-level courses including Intercultural Communication; Business and Professional Communication; Communication and Group Decision-Making; Introduction to Film; and Survey of Mass Communications. My research has appeared in Media Asia; Korea 2013: Politics, Economy and Society; The Korean Wave: Korean Popular Culture in Global Context; and The Impact of South Korean Popular Culture: Hallyu Unbound. I have also written for The Grand Rapids Press, ATK Magazine, The Michigan Korean Weekly, Sino-NK, and other news and popular presses. If you are interested in working with a highly-educated and experienced native English speaker, I would be happy to hear from you. Please note, however, that I do not accept gigs that are related to illegal, immoral, or unsavory activities. In other words, scoundrels need not inquire.
