Newbie - so many things still needed to learn, but willing to take the challenge.
I am a full time mom, and I am looking for another part time online job for additional income and of course, I wanted to learn more skills in different field if possible.
I used to work as an Accounting Staff before in an Office Based company for almost two years and my main task is posting to journal entries, book balancing, filing, supply and expenses forecasting, handling inventories, purchasing, handling logistics, doing some data entry and monitoring field transactions. I know, most of those task does not describe my job title, but that was what I do and that was also the reason why I quit. I have an overload of tasks, need to have an overtime almost everyday just to finish at least half of it, and yet, I don't get paid enough. That makes me decide to try online job.
I have landed a job online, I really do not have any idea about the job I land my self into but with the training videos, I found it quite easy at all. It's not really that hard of a job. Just checking trademarks on design titles and bullets, making and uploading thumbnails to sheets, proofreading titles and bullets and doing some lead research. I am happy I got the job, but then, I am also still very willing to learn a lot more about being a VA..
I know I do not have much skills to show off and not much experienced to gloat, but I can guarantee that I am a fast learner and can easily grasp instructions. My eagerness and willingness to learn more can be an advantage.
Though I am not a tech savvy, but I am familiar enough with technologies and knows some of the basic. I love exploring the internet and finding ways to learn things on my own. I know that there will always be room for improvement and by doing new tasks, facing new challenges means more learning, more knowledge and more skills to be develop.
I love reading and writing that is why I am also hoping to land on a writing job one day. I am also very observant and keen to details which I think an advantage to some field.
Work Terms
In terms of work, I can work for 20-30 hours a week and can start at $3/hr rate. I mostly preferred communicating in email or in Skype, though I don't mind some calling every now and then.
