Writer skilled in creative, academic, and journalistic writing.

In May of 2021 I will be graduating with a Bachelor's in Creative Writing. I plan to pursue a Master's Degree the following semester, also for creative writing. I am a skilled writer creatively as well as academically. I have had journalistic articles published digitally and in print through my work with a local nonprofit. My writing strength is in character detail and development, adaptable voice and style, and in obsessive editing and proofreading. One of my best skills is the ability to mold my writing voice to fit just about anything. I am particularly fond of my comedic writing voice, which has been compared to Monty Python. I am familiar with most periods of English Literary History and can mimic those styles as well. I am also adept at romantic scenes, specifically between women.I like to joke that historical accuracy is my kink, so historical fiction is my jam. I am also skilled at writing science fiction and fantasy. You can check my portfolio for examples of all of my writing except science fiction.

Work Terms

I am off of school for the summer until September, this leaves me with a lot of free time until then. After the term resumes, I will have to update my availability as my work load is quite variable. I prefer to communicate via email or text as I am almost always available that way and because I live in a house with children and a loquacious dog who make phone calls difficult.
