Simon took the time to fully understand my job and quickly resolved my VBA issue.

    for Fix/Add VBA code

Simon completed a number of tasks for me in VBA. He was the only VBA programmer out of many I tried on this and two other sites, who performed the tasks I asked, asked questions when he wasn't sure of that I meant, rather than proceed on assumptions (as all other VBA programmers did) that were wrong, and worked on the projects until they were finished, and coded in a style that I could comprehend. He never stormed off in a huff. told me I was wrong, charged a huge fee for vaporware, or in one case for zero lines of code, called me a coward, or a scammer, or pretended to know anything more than he actually did know. All of these things occurred with others. These freelance sites are designed for $50 jobs, on which it is easy to obtain a 5 start rating. The freelance market is a classic example of economist George Akerlof's seminal paper "The Market for Lemons, which means, in this case, the good programmers are driven out by the bad ones, because employers have no way to distinguish competent from incompetent until they hire them, and if it's a large project, and the VBA programmer is like the ones I've used before, it becomes a huge waste of time and money. In essence, it pays for freelancers to exaggerate their competence. Simon doesn't do that. I don't know whether my ratings will help him win business, but Simon will tell you what he can and can't do, and that is rare.
