I am a recent graduate of North Carolina A&T State University, where I pursued my Masters in Adult Education. #AGGIEPRIDE. At A&T I focused my research and coursework on the experiences of Black professors and students, academic advisement, and career readiness. Specifically, I am interested in creating equitable experiences for black women and femmes as it relates to the accessibility of higher education.
A wise man once famously stated, “I’m not saying I’m gonna change the world, but I guarantee that I will spark the brain that will change the world.” This is one of my favorite quotes because I want to be a catalyst in helping adults find the career paths of their dreams! I believe that my mission in life is to assist others in crafting lifestyles that they will love!
When I am not working or conducting research, I’m most likely watching Sesame Street or playing in makeup with my toddler! Once its naptime, I am probably listening to podcasts, reading fashion blogs, or daydreaming about the beaches I want to visit in Santorini!
