I’m a 23-year-old editor and proofreader with a deep passion for language and an eye for detail. My journey in editing began back in high school when I started reviewing essays for my friends. What started as a casual favor quickly turned into a serious interest as I realized how much I enjoyed the process of refining words to better express ideas.

Currently, I work as a freelance editor, collaborating with authors, researchers, and students to enhance the clarity and impact of their content. I’ve also gained experience as a content editor for an online magazine, ensuring that each article is polished and engaging. My goal is always to maintain the writer’s voice and intent while improving the overall quality of their work.

Outside of editing, I’m an avid reader and love playing chess, which helps me think more strategically—a skill I bring into my editing projects as well. I value continuous learning and often seek out workshops to stay current in my field.

The reason I chose this path traces back to a small, yet significant moment in my senior year. A classmate who was struggling with their research paper asked for my help. After working together and seeing how much more confident they became in their work, I knew this was what I wanted to do: help others communicate their ideas effectively and make their voices heard. To me, every document is an opportunity to unlock its potential through the power of precise and thoughtful editing.

Work Terms

My working hours are from 3 PM to 8 PM, during which I’m fully focused on delivering high-quality results. I prefer communication through messages, as it helps keep everything organized and allows me to respond promptly and efficiently. Messaging is the best way to track feedback, updates, or new requests, even when I’m managing multiple projects.

While my main working window is during the afternoon and evening, I’m open to accepting offers at any time. However, please note that I might be busy outside my primary hours. I’ll always strive to respond as soon as I’m available, ensuring clear communication and timely updates on ongoing tasks.
