I am embarrassed by how long overdue the posting of this feedback is. Although Joel Barbee illustrated my vocabulary-building book, I do not know enough superlatives to adequately describe his contributions to our collaboration. From his topnotch drawings to the speed of his delivery to his unquestioning willingness to make any requested revisions, my experience could not have been more positive. In terms of professionalism, accommodations, and open communication, I give him the highest possible grades. This was the first time I ever worked on a project of this nature or contracted a service over the Internet. I confess that I initially had great apprehensions but could not have asked for a better outcome. Suffice it to say that I heartily recommend Joel Barbee to anyone in need of his type of work. For positive proof of his talents I encourage a perusal of my book "101 Words You'll Probably Never Need To Know But Can Use To Impress People" when it is published November 2003.

He quickly created a color illustration/cartoon I needed for my new children's book. I had to survey many adults and children on several artist's illustrations and his was picked as a top one by both adults and the age group targeted. This was out of 82 surveyed. I posted what age group I needed it for and he created a perfect one for them. He was wonderful to work with and a joy to communicate with.
