Coding, 360 degrees at a time.
My name is Sky Adams and I was initially interested in computers when I was 11, getting my very first desktop computer. It didn't last long, as I was a curious child I would open the side panel to expose the internals, pushing and pulling on every wire seeing what everything went to. At the age of 14 I found my best friend who I still talk to today. He was the first person who had similar interests as me and wasn't the standard stereotypical bully you find in schools. He introduced me to batch programming for the Windows Command Prompt and I was drawn towards the idea of manipulating the computer to do what I needed, even if it was to print "Hello World". From there I researched non-stop on how to program and what software to use. That's when I found Visual Studio Express, a great free program to code in multiple languages. To start with I was coding in Visual Basic, created a couple programs with that, but it was lacking flexibility and was kinda clunky. So I began to broaden my skills and learned to code in C#, also using Visual Studio. With C# I was able to do a lot more advanced coding which led me to networking, and data manipulation. But then the game Minecraft was released. I got my hands on their MCP (Mod Coder Pack) which allowed me to explore the possibilities of Java. Though I admit, I wasn't very interested with Java syntax and the structure of it all, but I did learn a few new things from it. And that leads me here today.
A few interest other than computers, or programming:
Fishing, Go Cart racing, Gaming, Skateboarding, Hardware and Electrical, and enjoying the company of friends and family.
