I am a writer, editor, graphic designer, and marketer with fifteen years of professional experience.
Most recently, I was the marketing manager for a business growth company, and prior to that, I owned and operated a writing & editing, graphic & web design, and content marketing business.
I began my career as a writer and editor, and have since incorporated this skill into nearly every job, position or task. Additionally, I am highly experienced in a wide variety of marketing and communications skills, such as web design and maintenance (I largely use Wordpress), the Adobe Creative Suite, advertising, social media, content creation, video editing, e-blasts and newsletters, and print design.
I find immense satisfaction in starting and completing marketing projects, thinking creatively and strategically, and watching those little numbers rise on Google analytics, social media, or sales. I constantly seek the most cutting edge ways to find and interact with the audience, and to present information in an exciting and enticing way. Additionally, it’s nice to take a break and lay out a brochure in InDesign now and then, or create some new graphics, animation or advertisements. That is the beauty of marketing and communications: it’s a gamut of various responsibilities, with a perfect union of critical and creative thought.
I work closely with each client to ensure that our end project reflects the direction and vision of your organization.
Work Terms
I usually ask for 50% down, and 50% upon completion of the project.
