Small business. Small budget. Big impact. Bespoke feminine design and branding for fellow entrepreneurs.
Small(ish) Design is so named, because... well... that's how I would describe the scope and budget of my ideal client's project. Small business, small budget, small town, have a small amount of time to put into it, have a small, specific market to appeal to, just have a small project request and not a full blown marketing blitz program. In other words, if you need a big fancy e-commerce website for 200+ products, 5 mailing lists and data mining, then I'm not your girl. BUT, if you've got a blog idea or a maybe want to open a new business in town and need a logo or startup website you can build from as you grow, well then let's be friends.
I feel it's more productive for myself and my clients that I am focused in a particular niche, so I only apply or agree to the work I feel I am qualified to handle, have genuine interest in, and know my skill set can benefit the client. This is why I usually concentrate on design work for makers and small business ventures, with a lean towards a vintage, retro, creative or feminine look and appeal - not to say I can't design a good logo and website for a landscape company or a real estate office... because I have - but I think these types of design comes to me a little bit more organically.
