Art for the young at heart!

Hello and welcome to my site here on guru -

Digital Art: I know and use the Adobe Creative Suite. This is my favorite for digital artwork and publications design.

I worked at Microsoft for 4 years with these two programs designing characters and the layout of user-documentation booklet pages as well as interface screens for the games group.

Traditional: I paint pet & animal portraits and illustrate children's books.
Oil paint on canvas or watercolor on illustration board.

For pet/animal portraits: Please email a picture or two of your pet/animal and a size of final piece you'd like. I work in either oils or watercolor or a manuscript to discuss illustration of your book.

For a children's book: Please email your manuscript and what illustrations you need or we can pick them out together.

Often I'll scan the art and work in digital program to Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and enhance color, make small changes to embellish and save as digital art files: pdf or jpg.

This makes it easy for the file to be placed among the words the writer has written. I also can provide graphic design and add text and art together.
