I have a masters degree in art education and a background as a professional artist. I worked for a large company as a cartoonist throughout college and have 10+ years teaching for the public school system for grades prek-12. I have experience leading research teams and have written several published works concerning the visual arts and their educational implementation and purpose.

In the past, I worked as a contracted artist for many types of clients. My employers have included larger clients such as theme parks venues and hotels, also individual studios, authors, and small businesses. I am a classically trained artist so realism is something I am comfortable with (portraiture, landscape, ect). I also worked for a large company as a cartoonist for 8 years, so a more ilustrative/cartoon look is also something I am able to provide.


I am relatively new to the freelance world, and have only been doing it for the past couple of years but I really enjoy it! Painting and creating is something I have always been passionate about but helping others to achieve their aesthetic visions has been my favorite part of being a freelance artist.
