Hi there, I am an Indian having friends from all over the world. I have completed my M.A. in Economics from University of Mumbai, India and B.A. In Economics from Sophia College, Mumbai. Currently, I have been teaching Maths, Science and English Communication till std 9 in an I.S.A CERTIFIED SCHOOL (by British council) for 5 years. I also received the prestigious TEACHER'S AWARD in 2014 and have been actively involved in training award winning students (both senior and junior) for inter school quiz and other competitions. So, I know how to motivate the weak students to perform well and how to bring out the best in bright students.
Apart from being a full time teacher, I also love writing short stories and poems and as a student, I have been an active Writer's club member. I still maintain diaries of short stories and poems written by me.I also do editing and proofreading.
I would like to mention, I prefer one to one tuition because that enables me to give personal attention to that particular student and clear all his/her doubts at the very basic level. If not, then students may form a group of 3 or 4 but not more than that because I believe in QUALITY EDUCATION.
I WON'T SAY THAT I AM PATIENT WITH SLOW LEARNERS OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT BECAUSE I DON'T NEED TO BE PATIENT TO DO WHAT I LOVE DOING. TEACHING IS MY PASSION.. SO, I WOULD EQUALLY ENJOY TEACHING ALL TYPES OF STUDENTS.
Work Terms
I conduct my classes on an hourly, weekly or monthly basis, depending on the needs of the student. Payments for proofreading and short story writing can be done based on word limits. Payments can be done via paypal or directly transferred to my local bank account, whichever the client finds more convenient.
I can do editing and proofreading on a very short notice as well.
