I have been working in apparel design (primarily costume design) since 1996 on full time basis, owning an independant business of costume design and sales.
I currently work with wholesale manufacturing as well as couture and retail production.My primary skills are product development sourcing domestically. I also excel in management, presentation and event production. I have over 15 years experience pattern making, apparel design and creation.
My primary experience is in product design and development from initial concept through sampling, patternmaking, to production. My designs are heavily based on historical garments. By making use of best practices in construction and manufacturing I create superior fitted, artisan quality historical apparel.I have over 15 years experience in the field of apparel (costume) design for couture, off the rack and wholesale manufacturing. I work in my home studio based in San Diego, CA.
Work Terms
I agree to contract and receive payment according to Guru.com terms and conditions. Most projects will require a non-refundable fee (negotiable) and payment upon satisfactory completion of the project.In the event that the project parameters are vague or not clearly represented, the Employer assumes responsibility to ensure that Freelancer understands and agrees to the terms of the project.All projects are to be finalized in a timely manner. Delays in communication, approvals or other processes will result in unsatisfactory progress.
