I am a freelance journalistic writer, designer, editor & social media/communications professional with 20+ years of experience in the field. My areas of expertise are in editorial writing for magazines and newspapers; graphic design and writing for newsletters and other marketing collateral; editing services; white papers; web content; SEO and social media.

I have written for National Geographic, USA Today, The Guardian, Texas Monthly and more. I have designed newsletters, annual reports & other marketing materials for numerous clients. I have also written or co-written several books, and have expertise in blogs and social media.

My areas of specialty include nonprofits, travel, lifestyle, the arts, education, profiles, pets, health & wellness.

Work Terms

For new clients, a retainer is required up front. Invoices are submitted upon work completion and due within 30 days. Repeat clients can be on an invoice basis; big or ongoing projects do require a retainer up front or a pay-out agreement during the time of the work.
