Stacia Kirby has a background that combines media and public relations experience. She has developed a professional, aggressive and successful approach to communications in a rapidly expanding marketplace. Her services include a full range of public relations and marketing communications tactics ranging from traditional to the social media landscape and everything in between.
Prior to freelancing, Stacia was Director of Media Relations for Publicis (formally Evans Group) in Seattle. At the agency, Stacia was primarily responsible for launching Starbucks onto the national scene, along with servicing other accounts. Earlier, she was a publicist at an agency specializing in promoting best-selling authors and books.
In television media, she worked for "Entertainment Tonight" (Paramount Pictures), and "The Home Show" (ABC-TV). In radio, she was a reporter for the Mutual Broadcasting Systems’ "Entertainment Report.” In print, she was an editorial assistant for Bon Appetite magazine.
Stacia is a member of PR Consultants Group, a nationwide network of public relations specialists servicing the needs of national accounts in local markets.
She has a Bachelor in Arts from the University of Washington in Communications as well as a Certificate in Social Media Management from the University of Washington.
She is a news junkie, great storyteller and enjoys taking life head-on. She is an avid cook, traveler, gardener, reader, hiker, and volunteer.
