I am a freelance paralegal with over 10 years experience working in the legal profession in law firms and 3 years experience working as a Texas litigation paralegal. My skills entail drafting pleadings, simple motions, discovery requests, discovery responses and correspondence. I assist with trial preparation including attending a jury trial and deposition for a personal injury case. I am good at organizing, communicating and working diligently to meet time sensitive deadlines. I am goal oriented so completing tasks using innovative measures and efficiency are important to meet objectives. Along with my legal background, I also have experience in administration, assisting executive level management including a sole practicing attorney and 3 partners from my previous employers. I believe working proactively, prioritizing work and having professional integrity contributes to a satisfied work product. I have a pre-law degree from the University of Houston Clear Lake, graduating in 2013 with a 3.5 GPA and obtaining 40 hours in training in mediation. I also have an Associates Degree in General Studies from Austin Community College. You can also expect me to be energetic, motivated and positive.
